Hummingbird House is a lovely family home built into the hillside above Pigeon Beach near English Harbour on the south-east coast of Antigua. It has fabulous views looking westward across the entrance to Falmouth Harbour and is about a five to ten minute downhill walk to one of the safest, sandy beaches in Antigua. Antigua Yacht Club Marina and Falmouth
Marina, which attract
so many beautiful yachts in the winter time, are a five to ten minute
walk away. In the vicinity of the marinas are located the nearest supermarkets, bars and restaurants.
All the other attractions of English and Falmouth Harbours, including Nelson's Dockyard
National Park, are just a few minutes walk away. |

Hummingbird House is built on two levels.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms; two bedrooms have queen-sized beds and the third
has twin beds. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and
ceiling fans. There is a large kitchen with a good range of units and
equipment - refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, etc.
Outside is located a large south-west facing ‘L’ shaped covered terrace with a dining and sitting area. Furniture on this terrace is heavy wicker with attractively covered cushions. Another sitting room is found inside with VCR and local TV. There is a separate self-contained apartment on the lower level of the house with two bedrooms, a bathroom and open plan kitchen and sitting room. |

Other facilities include a standby generator and cistern water. Car hire is recommended with this house. Regular maid service is included. The house has recently undergone extensive refurbishment and has a new roof, new bathroom fittings, all new furniture and has been freshly repainted. |
